Who should attend
If you’re curious about how robots and animatronics are actually built, this talk is for you. - **You love robots in any form** — from humanoid builds and mobile machines to industrial-style mechanics and entertainment robots that move with personality. - **You’re a fan of film, TV, and practical effects** and want to see how familiar pop-culture-inspired characters can be brought to life through animatronics. - **You like making things with your hands** — whether you’re into construction, electronics, fabrication, mechanics, or DIY projects and want a closer look at the build process. - **You’re a student, hobbyist, parent, or educator** looking for an accessible, all-ages way to explore robotics outside a classroom or lab setting. - **You’re considering getting into robotics** and want a grounded, real-world introduction from a builder who creates working machines for entertainment. - **You enjoy seeing creative engineering up close** and hearing directly from someone who turns ideas into moving, expressive robot creations. If you want a practical, visually engaging look at robot building from someone who actually does it, you’ll feel right at home here.
