About this event
If you’ve been curious about Sui, Move, or what people in the Aqua Move community are actually building and learning together, this meetup is a practical place to start. Aqua Move Meetup 02: Unlocking Sui Basics with Challenge 1 is designed to help you get oriented, meet other builders and learners in person, and turn interest into action. This is not just a passive sit-and-listen session. It’s a community meetup with a clear learning focus: understanding the basics of Sui through Challenge 1, while giving attendees space to ask questions, connect with others, and leave with a stronger sense of what to do next. About the Event Aqua Move Meetup 02 is an in-person community gathering centered on learning the fundamentals behind Sui in a way that feels approachable and useful. Whether you are completely new or already exploring the ecosystem, the event is built to make the basics more accessible by anchoring the discussion around a concrete challenge. The format combines learning and community. You can expect a meetup atmosphere where people are there not only to absorb information, but also to talk through ideas, compare notes, and help each other get unstuck. That makes it especially valuable if you learn best by hearing how others are thinking about the same concepts. Using Challenge 1 as the frame gives the event a practical center of gravity. Instead of staying abstract, the meetup can help attendees connect foundational Sui concepts to something tangible. That kind of structure is useful for beginners because it gives you a clearer path into the topic and a more memorable way to understand the basics. Because this is the second Aqua Move meetup, there is also an ongoing community energy behind it. You are not stepping into a one-off session with no continuity. You are stepping into a growing local gathering where people are showing up to learn, connect, and build familiarity over time. What to Expect Expect a focused but welcoming meetup experience. The event starts on Saturday, December 7 at 10:00 AM GMT+7, giving attendees a daytime slot that works well for learning, conversation, and informal networking. The core experience will likely revolve around several practical moments, including: An introduction to the meetup and community context so you understand what Aqua Move is trying to cultivate A basics-oriented walkthrough of Sui concepts framed through the lens of Challenge 1 Space for questions and clarification, especially valuable if you are encountering these ideas for the first time Community interaction and networking with other attendees interested in the same ecosystem Informal discussion before or after the main session, where some of the most useful peer learning often happens Because the event is tagged as a meetup, community, networking, social, and gathering, you should expect more than a lecture. The atmosphere should feel conversational and open enough for attendees to introduce themselves, share what they are working on, and find others at a similar stage. If you’ve ever attended a technical event and felt lost because it moved too fast or assumed too much prior knowledge, this kind of basics-focused session can be a better entry point. The emphasis here is on unlocking understanding, not showing off complexity. Why Attend The biggest reason to attend is simple: starting is easier when you do it with other people. If Sui has been on your radar but you have not yet taken the first real step, this meetup gives you a concrete entry point, a live environment, and a topic focused enough to help you build momentum. You will also get the benefit of learning in a room with others who care about the same space. That matters. In early-stage learning, a quick conversation with another attendee can often save you hours of confusion later. Being able to ask questions in person, hear how others interpret a challenge, and trade resources can make the basics click faster. This meetup is also useful if you want to connect technical curiosity with community. It is one thing to read alone online; it is another to become part of a local network of people exploring the same tools and ideas. Events like this can help you find future collaborators, accountability partners, or simply familiar faces for the next meetup. You should come away with value such as: A clearer understanding of Sui basics A practical entry point through Challenge 1 More confidence asking beginner questions Connections with local community members A better sense of how to continue learning after the meetup Even if you are not sure how deep you want to go yet, attending can help you answer an important question: is this an ecosystem and community you want to spend more time with? That clarity alone can make the morning worthwhile. Practical Details This is an in-person event in Tân Bình, Vietnam at: Đường 18E, mặt bên phải toà nhà Republic Plaza.
